Dr. James Burks earned an Associate of Science degree in biology from Volunteer state, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a double minor in Art and Chemistry from the University of Tennessee. He earned his Doctorate degree from the University of Tennessee in Memphis in the year of 1982. His hobbies include: Carving, diving, and golfing. Dr. Burks is also a member of Summit Institute Study Club. Dr. Burks continues to attend seminars and study clubs, keeping up with the newest in dental technology, products and procedures.

Dr. James Burks has achieved excellence in General Dentistry with an emphasis in cosmetic Dentistry. With more than twenty years of experience, and his wife by his side as the book keeper, Dr.Burks has enhanced thousands of smiles. He is now sought after for his mastery of veneers, crowns, and makeovers.

Darla was born & raised in New Orleans, LA. Darla moved to TN in 1987 and has worked for Dr Burks for over 14 years.

As Office Manager, Darla ensures that our patients are happy with every aspect of their visit. Darla keeps the office running smoothly and is always available to listen to patients' concerns.

Darla has been married for 34 years and has 2 sons, both of which are married. Her hobbies include shopping and traveling.

Melissa

Melissa was born and raised in the Goodlettsville area and now lives in White House with her husband and two children. Spare time is spent outside with the furry kids, gardening and reading

Melissa has been front desk with Dr. Burks since the beginning of this year but has 10 years of dental experience.

Jammie Forrester

Jammie graduated from Volunteer State as a Certified Dental Assistant in 1984 and later graduated with an Associates of Science in Dental Hygiene from Tennessee State University.

Jammie has been married for 24 years and has 2 sons. Her hobbies include high school football, gardening & reading.

Jessie Matthews

Jessie has was born and raised in Nasvhville and has worked in dentistry for 2 years and loves it! She graduated from Remmington college.

Jessie's hobbies include shopping, boating, walking in the park with her dog, camping and riding four-wheelers.
